October Mum Club: Release the 'Good Mum' Pressure
Sun, 25 Oct
|The Nook - Venue Hire & Studios
Unravel that sneaky perfectionism that comes in & tells you you're not patient, calm, doing enough, amongst a group of mums who gets it.

Time & Location
25 Oct 2026, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The Nook - Venue Hire & Studios, 18 Progress St, Mornington VIC 3931, Australia
Program Details:
Motherhood comes with a job description nobody wrote down, but somehow everyone expects of you.
Be present. Be patient. Be calm (always). Remember the excursion form, the dentist appointment, the fact that they're out of undies in the right size. Make time for your partner, your friends, reply to mesages within 48hrs. Keep the house together, the fridge stocked, the emotions regulated (yours and theirs).
And when you fall short of even one of these? The voice shows up fast: a good mum would have remembered. A good mum wouldn't have lost her patience. A good mum would be more present than this.
If you've been quietly measuring yourself against a ;'good mum' standard that feels insanely hard (maybe even impossible) to uphold, this month's Mum Club is for you.
This Mum Club is for you if:
~ You often feel like you're falling short, even on the days you're doing your best
~ You feel guilty resting, or doing something just for you (even if its for literally 5 mins)
~ You're exhausted from trying to be everything, to everyone, all the time
~ You want to feel like 'enough' without needing to prove it constantly
This is for every mum quietly trying to be perfect at a job that was never meant to be.
How the session runs:
We'll begin with some wisdom, to help you understand where the pressure to be a 'good mum' comes from & how to slowly allow it to loosen its grip.
From there, the heart of Mum Club is connection.
You'll be placed into small groups of three, guided through a few curiosity-led questions designed to spark honest, relatable conversation (no pressure to share more than you want to).
These small groups allow for:
~ deep, safe conversations
~ being truly heard (not talked over)
~ real connection without advice-giving or fixing
You're always welcome to share at your own pace; listening is just as valued as speaking.
Sunday October 25th, 4-5pm, The Nook Mornington
15 spots available to keep things connected.
